This service is operated by seemythings.com. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@seemythings.com.
Information we handle
We handle your sign-in email, username, optional profile bio, account sessions, and the collection information you provide. This can include item descriptions, photos, notes, storage locations, purchase costs and sales records. We use this information to operate your account, organize your collection, and provide the features you choose.
Session cookies support sign-in. We also keep workflow, usage and error records to operate the service, recover interrupted work, and track approvals and processing costs.
Public sharing and your choices
Your public username and bio can be visible to visitors. Your sign-in email is not displayed on your public profile. Information and photos you choose to publish through public collections, items, stories or marketplace listings can be viewed by others. Review the sharing and photo settings before publishing.
You can edit your profile and collection information and change available visibility and photo-presentation settings. Making something private in this app does not remove copies already published to an external service.
Service providers and optional AI
Vercel hosts the application. Supabase provides account authentication, database services and photo storage. Google handles Google sign-in if you choose that option.
When enabled features use AI, relevant item information, selected photos or prepared text may be sent to OpenAI for identification, research, writing or narration. The card-listing copywriter uses selected confirmed card facts; private archive notes, storage locations and purchase costs are excluded from its input. You can review and edit listing copy before publication.
Depending on the features enabled and used, research queries may be sent to Perplexity, and scanner or Creator media may be stored or processed using Cloudflare R2 and AWS rendering services. These providers process the information needed for those features. Their own services have their own privacy terms.
Connecting eBay
If you connect eBay, we receive authorization tokens, your seller account identifier, granted permissions, and account readiness, business-policy and inventory-location information. Tokens are stored encrypted. We use the connection to prepare and manage the listings you authorize and reconcile listing and order activity.
Approved listing information and photos are sent to eBay. We retain listing and order identifiers, item references, amounts, payment and fulfillment states, and relevant timestamps. Optional General promotion also records your approved rate, campaign and ad identifiers, and their status.
Disconnecting removes the app’s stored eBay credentials and readiness information. It does not itself revoke consent in eBay’s connected-app settings, remove listings, or stop external advertising. Use the promotion-off control and check its verified status before disconnecting when you want ads stopped.
Retention and deletion requests
Collection information is retained to provide your archive. Operational records, approvals, transaction history and usage receipts can remain after an item is removed or an account connection is disconnected. Temporary media and failed uploads use cleanup workflows; removal may require processing and verification.
When we receive a supported eBay account-deletion notification, the app removes the stored eBay credentials and external seller identifier. A keyed identity marker remains to prevent reconnection, along with relevant operational history. This is separate from deleting your seemythings.com account.
Email contact@seemythings.com to request access, correction or deletion of your information. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. We will explain any information that remains and any additional steps needed for connected services.
